We all experience anxiety from time to time and it is a completely normal response to situations we may consider to be threatening. For example, if we had to take an important exam, attend a crucial meeting or undergo an operation. In such situations anxiety would be completely natural and a certain level of anxiety can actually be helpful for certain situations as it can make us more alert and responsive to the situation or even cope with an emergency.
